Two weeks of focused writing, cultural discovery, and creative inspiration amid mountain villages, tea plantations, ancient temples, and unforgettable landscapes.
Mission
The mission of the Creative Writing Retreat in Thailand is to provide writers with dedicated time, inspiring environments, and a supportive community that fosters sustained creative productivity. Through immersive experiences in Northern Thailand, participants engage in intensive writing sessions while exploring new cultures, landscapes, and perspectives that enrich their work and broaden their understanding of the world.
We are committed to creating a balance of focused writing, cultural engagement, and personal renewal, empowering writers to make meaningful progress on their projects, strengthen their creative practice, and return home with renewed confidence, inspiration, and momentum.
Vision......
To create an inspiring international community where writers step away from the distractions of daily life to immerse themselves in focused creative work, meaningful cultural experiences, and personal renewal. Through dedicated writing time in the tranquil landscapes of Northern Thailand, participants will advance their individual projects, connect with fellow writers, and gain fresh perspectives that enrich both their craft and their understanding of the world. Days 1–2: Chiang Mai
1. Arrival and welcome orientation

3. Explore Chiang Mai's historic Old City,
temples, and markets
4. Visit Doi Suthep Temple and scenic
viewpoints
5. Group welcome dinner
Days 3–7: Mae Hong Son Writing Residency

2. 9:00 am–12:00 pm: Intensive Writing

3. 12:15-2:00 Lunch and personal time
4. 2:00–5:00 pm: Intensive Writing

5. Evening: Free time, local exploration,
or optional group gatherings

Days 8–12: Ban Rak Thai Writing Residency
